This past Wednesday night, at the
meeting of the Dreams Landing Board of
Directors, I announced that I was retiring from managing
the Dreams Landing pool. I began managing the pool in
1980 and have done so every summer since, 32 years in
all. Time for a break.
The new manager is Rusty
Bergen
who has been the associate manager the last five years
or so. Bernadette Benik, who has served as Rusty's
backup, will be the new associate manager. Both have
been involved previously in managing the pool,
particularly during the six weeks or so that Mary and I
have been away each summer in recent years.
Beginning now, please contact Rusty, or perhaps
Bernadette, on all pool-related matters, including all
matters involving use of the pool room and/or deck for
parties.
